Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Configureout (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit configureout.com or submit a consultation request through this site.

1. Who we are

Configureout is a software product currently in pre-registration. Until a registered legal entity is established, the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the founder, contactable at sales@configureout.com.

This page will be updated with full company details once registration is complete.

2. What information we collect

When you submit the consultation form on this site, we collect:

• Name
• Business name
• Email address
• Phone number
• A description of your business (free-text field)
• Locale — the language version of the site you used (English or Serbian)

We also collect anonymized usage statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics: page views, browser type, country, and referring URL. This is cookieless and does not identify you personally.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis under GDPR)

The information you submit through the consultation form is used to:

• Respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation call
• Understand your business needs and propose a relevant solution
• Add you to our contact list for follow-up about Configureout

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you provide by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to direct inquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

4. Where your information is stored

• Brevo (our email and CRM provider, EU-based) stores your contact details and our email correspondence. Brevo is GDPR-compliant — see brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
• Cloudflare (our hosting and analytics provider) processes anonymized site analytics in their global edge network — see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

We do not transfer your personal information to any other third parties.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your contact information for as long as you remain interested in Configureout, or until you ask us to delete it. If we have no contact with you for 24 months, we delete your data automatically.

6. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict how we use your data
• Object to our processing of your data
• Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@configureout.com. We respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

7. Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-first. No consent banner is required because no personal data is processed by analytics.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. If you have submitted a consultation request, material changes will be communicated to you by email.
